Independent Living Studies

Older girls who have completed their basic education but are still under the care of the home have the opportunity to take additional classes. These classes include life skills training to help the girls prepare to enter into society as adults. Additionally, the girls have the opportunity to pursue additional career training based on their specific skills and talents. We currently have three girls in this program, with two studying hair styling and one learning make-up application. The girls travel off campus two days a week to attend career training programs. Having this additional training helps them transition into their next phase of life.
