Off Campus Studies

This year 5 of our older girls have the opportunity to go off campus to study at Colegio Jireh. These girls range from 14-16 years of age and are completing their final years of school. These girls ride the bus to school, which teaches them how to utilize public transportation. This is an important life skill for Guatemalans, as it’s a key mode of transportation. This also allows the girls to expand their social skills by being around other teenagers outside the home. We are excited about this opportunity for the girls. They are, too, as you can tell from the photo where they are wearing their school jackets and standing in front of their school mascot.
