Our amazing relationship journey with Prince of Peace girls began when Al Sanchez shared his dream with us at church about opening a girls’ Home in Guatemala. We walked in prayer and support through the tragic loss of his wife and the eventual finding of the current site. Our family has come many times and come with teams since about 2001. One never leaves the same as when you arrive, as your heart is broken and healed, and at the same time, you live, love, and laugh with the girls. I love how the team members see life through a new lens of truth as they return home to live out all God did in their hearts at Prince of Peace. The Home stands out for its dedication to every aspect of girls’ lives and is tireless in its love and devotion to each girl who enters the Home.
